Among the more memorable aspects highlighted in various Bear Paw Bar & Restaurant reviews is the interplay between traditional Polish favorites and more contemporary fare. The dishes often emphasize robust flavors without overwhelming complexity, and portion sizes comfortably satisfy most appetites. A particular standout includes the tender meat platters paired with seasonal sides, striking a balance between authenticity and accessibility. Pricing aligns reasonably with the quality and quantity served, though certain items might feel slightly elevated for casual diners. The menu’s pace allows for thoughtful exploration, encouraging guests to revisit portions or try less conventional selections from the kitchen.

Great restaurant and really good service. The fountain in front of the establishment gives it an added bonus to the ambiance. The food and refreshments were delicious.

Amazing food, interior and staff! We had beef cheeks and fish&chips, also some bartender special shots, coctails. Everything was really tasty! Our waiter GREG was very nice, always smiling and we got a lot of information about the place, drinks and food. I think we found best place to eat and drink in Mrągowo :) Hope to come back

Yo, dude. Yeah. This place is great. As an appetizer, got the fish soup and roasted cauliflower. Soup was really good, nothing spectacular, but it was decently fishy and enjoyable. Cauliflower was above average-- not only cauliflower, but also some root vegetables and zucchini as well. Some were sweet tasting and went great with the fresh cucumbers and ranch-type dipping sauce to cut the texture and sweetness with something fresh and creamy. Very good. The main courses were fish and chips and kartacze with a duck filling. Fish and chips were awesome. The batter was crispy and seasoned well and the fish tender and meaty. Fries were great, but the remarkable thing was the coleslaw and chipotle dip. The coleslaw had a little heat because of the mustard seeds (and probably mustard itself) and the chipotle sauce was pretty spicy, especially for most Polish restaurants I've been to. The whole dish came together perfectly 10/10. The kartacze were gigantic. Good thing they were delicious as well. Probably the best texture of any potato-based dumplings I've had up here in Mazury. The duck meat was something extraordinary, too. It was seasoned really well and the coarse grind added a lot to the soft potato exterior A+. Bacon got kinda lost in the sauce though. Oh. As an added bonus, there was a lot of sliced up green onion. I'm a big fan. Anyway. The atmosphere of the restaurant was normal. Hip. All that. Wait staff was nice. Everything came hot and we didn't have to wait too long. Go here. Why not

The name of the restaurant, as well as the coat of arms of the city, is a bear's paw. Nice place. You can find something for vegetarians there. They make a tasty non-alcoholic Pinacolada. In the summer they have plenty of tables outside overlooking the fountain lake. The waiters are nice too.

Excellent pizza! We enjoyed both Parma and Prosciuto. Pizzas came uncut with cutlery and cutting wheel. For this, it’d be better to place pizza on wooden board rather than on ceramic plate as on this cutting pizza was tricky (it was sliding a lot). Please take it as suggestion to improve rather than criticism.

We came to this place after seeing very good reviews about the restaurant. The food was excellent — I highly recommend both the place and the food!
